The Sovereign Grand Commander and three other members of The Supreme Council conducted the consecration ceremony. They were assisted by the Grand Director of Ceremonies, the Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, the Grand Organist, and the Grand Outer Guard.

The Founding Members of Heritage 1220 CRC

E & P Bro Stephen Burton (5th from RHS, front) had the honour of being obligated and installed as the Chapters First Most Wise Sovereign by Most Puissant Bro John Boyington CBE, Sovereign Grand Commander.

Eminent brethren including the Provincial Grand Master of the Craft, Right Worshipful Bro. Mark Constant, Very Illustrious Past Inspector Generals from our own District, Rev Tony Avery and Barrie Hall, accompanied by current Very Illustrious Inspectors General from other Districts were in the attendance to witness this rare and very special ceremony that numbered 97, the majority of which stayed for an excellent consecration Lunch.

Most Puissant Bro. John Boyington CBE, Sovereign Grand Commander, expressed his delight with the day and thanked all for their participation in the Formation of this Chapter. He wished everyone well and thanked all for making the time to attend.

The Inspector General for the District, V.lll. Bro. John Booth, expressed delight that the new Chapter had finally arrived. He congratulated the founding members and in particular Excellent and Perfect Prince Steve Burton, 18th Degree for the hard and somewhat difficult and arduous work in preparation and representation that has taken place for over nearly 3 years He also thanked neighbouring Chapters in the way in which they had supported and welcomed the foundation Heritage CRC 1220.

He was also very much relieved to now have 14 Chapters under his jurisdiction rather than 13, which is a rather unlucky number in our Order.
